I got this pattern/tutorial earlier this spring. I hadn't got a chance to use it until now. This is a great tutorial. It's super-easy to follow and just makes sense. Plus, it's adorable.

Christmas in July! (or August...)
At Camp we have a Christmas in July homemade gift exchange. I decided to make my recipient a bag. After perusing Etsy for patterns, I decided on the June Bag from MayAndMae. The pattern was a little more difficult and involved than I was planning on, but it's a darling little bag. I'm kind of sad I couldn't keep it.
I used fusible fleece and I made a button hole! Yay for learning new things!
It even has a back pocket.
I love long straps on bags.
The best part about sewing projects is picking out the fabric.
